Frequently listed as one of Connecticut's prettiest communities, Guilford's "downtown" boasts restaurants, historic homes, boutiques, a book store and library, coffee shops and patisseries. A short car trip will take you to Yale University, the Connecticut river, Gillette castle, Goodspeed Opera House, Mystic Seaport and many more Connecticut landmarks.
